My fault for not reading the description better.
Wanted a color version
4 stars because i love Gray's work and have found his images to be more helpful than some of our 'modern day' renderings.
the book quality was good for the price and was as advertised. I use this book often whether for work or out of curiosity and boredom to look up things for fun. I recommend this book or any version of Grays Anatomy as the drawings are stunning
Such a beautiful copy of Gray's Anatomy that would make a perfect gift for the medical person in your life or just to have in your possession. So well put together and informative. A must have for any bookshelf.
I bought a copy of Gray's Anatomy for personal enjoyment and writing research. This is a beautiful version and is actually my second copy. I purchased my first copy from Barnes and Noble. I ended up giving it away as a gift. When I went to purchase my own copy, they no longer stocked it, so I bought it here.
Beautiful book, I bought it mainly as a curiosity but have already used it a couple of times as a reference. This particular printing looks and feels great.
I received the book rather quickly. Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck by how beautiful the cover of the book was. The leatherbound edition is pretty awesome and the raised cover illustration was very cool. I bought the book as a gift for my girlfriend, an R.N., and when I gave it to her, she was very impressed with the condition of the book (I purchased a used copy from a non-chain bookstore). It looked brand new. As a matter of fact, if I didn't know the book was used, I never would have guessed that it was, in fact, a used copy.
As for the book itself, this collectible edition was incredibly beautiful and very impressive. The illustrations throughout the book are quite magnificent.
So, ultimately, I was very happy with my purchase and my girlfriend was very excited to finally have this book in her collection (She has wanted to add this book to her personal collection for quite some time). The price was quite inexpensive (just a little over $40 altogether) and the book was in fantastic condition.
So, suffice it to say I was very, very satisfied and very impressed.

Its hard cover. I wanted a small portable, soft cover, that's why I got the abridged version. Oh well- its hard cover. It looks really nice and I love the abridged book as an osteology person (just wish it included teeth). The hardcover book is red and slides inside this cream colored sleeve.
